You smell that lovely aroma? Yup, that’s new blog smell.
The Writerly Way officially has its own domainĀ and thank goodness. I can do all the things now. So many of them. It has opened up all new ways to procrastinate blog.
So what does this mean for you? Nothing. Hopefully.
If everything has gone as planned, the transition is DONE, you’re seeing this (and I’m not just talking to myself) and everything goes on as normal. Of course, how often does that happen?
I’ve spent half a day drinking and building things the way I want them. Things are bound to break.
The drinking may have some part in that, but I like to think it also played a small part in maintaining my sanity during the process. I mean, there’s not much left, so gotta protect it!
I want to thank you all for sticking with me and not, like, impaling me with pitchforks and such.
Or perhaps I’ve spoken too soon? But wait! Before you get on with the fire and pointy things, I come bearing gifts! Specifically, giveaways. Two of them, for sure! So keep an eye out for those. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you can’t miss them.
YAY!! Congratulations! Are you on Twitter? I’d like to know the struggles you had of getting a domain name because I want to get a personal plan. I was wondering if I could keep everything that I had the way it is now without changing too much. What plan do you have? Feel free to DM me on Twitter. I’m takenbybooks on there. That’s my next step in the future.
Thank you! It wasn’t difficult, except that I had pages that I really just wanted updated and changed, plus getting used to the new interface (which is most of the struggle). Pretty much everything is the same, though! It’s not horrible, as long as you’re not silly like me.
I’m @srbetler on Twitter. I’ve got a few things to do before I hop on Twitter, so if you want to shoot me a DM, I’ll respond soon as I finish up. I’ve actually got a link I can send you that was fantastic and answered all the questions I had, too. š
Yeay congrats on getting your own domain. š
Thank you!
