So, remember those giveaways I promised? Here’s the first one, lovingly dubbed the Spread the Love Giveaway.
This blog started early January of this year, mostly as a way for me to get into some community and take my mind off a miscarriage I had last September. I ended up having a D&C the day before my birthday, which is … not how I imagined I’d spend my birthday? While it’s a sad memory for my family, I am so very blessed by all the love and support I’ve received since then and everything that has come out of the loss.
Since then, the blogging community has been fabulous, and I’m so honored to have had the chance to meet all of you and become a part of this! I’ve had such wonderful opportunities and met all the best people. So, I want to give back.
In honor of reaching (nearly) 100 followers and because of all the wonderful people who have supported me, I’m giving doing a giveaway of one 2018 release of the winner’s choice.
✦ Giveaway runs from 9/14 – 9/21, midnight to midnight
✦ Prize is your choice of (1) 2018 book release worth $15 or less from Book Depository
✦ International (wherever Book Depository delivers)
✦ Winner will be drawn via Rafflecopter and notified via email
I’m so sorry about your miscarriage. It happened to me twice and it’s not easy. 🙁 I’m glad for this blog though.
Thank you! I’ve had two, as well, but I’m so glad I started blogging! I’ve had so much fun with it. 😀
I’m sorry for your loss as well, me and my wife tried for years and found out that we just can’t have any kids together.
I just found your blog today and look forward to much more it seems our interest in books are similar. I to am looking forward to Marie Lu’s Warcross/Wildcard. I’ve been putting off reading the series until Wildcard came out.
Thank you, and I’m sorry to hear about you and your wife. It’s always a hard situation, especially when you really want them. We’re lucky that we did have a daughter years ago with no issues, but we’ve been considering adoption since then. My cousin and her husband can’t have children, either, and after five long years of fighting, they’ve finally adopted the three little boys they’ve fostered since they were practically babies. 🙂 I always love hearing stories like that!
Welcome! I’m glad to have you here. That’s what I’ve done, too, because I’ve heard such good things about Warcross, but I can’t see reading it and then suffering while waiting for Wildcard instead of checking them out together. xD You’ll have to let me know what you think of them when you get to read them!
Sending you more hugs. <3
Congrats on almost a 100. Here is to so many more to come!
Thank you so much! <3 I actually broke 100! It's amazing. Such a pretty number. :) I never would have imagined I'd have even 100 followers back in January when I started. xD
