IMAGINE…
Leaving your house in the middle of the night.
Knowing your mother is doing her best, but she’s just as scared as you.
IMAGINE…
Starting a new school, making friends.
Seeing how happy it makes your mother.
Hearing a voice, calling out to you.
IMAGINE…
Following the signs, into the woods.
Going missing for six days.
Remembering nothing about what happened.
IMAGINE…
Something that will change everything…
And having to save everyone you love.
Reasons to Read
✿ Guaranteed to never make you look at imaginary friends the same way.
✿ Dark, atmospheric, and likely to scare the bejeesus out of you.
✿ Takes the creepy factor, turns it up to 52, and sprinkles a little spooky and a lot of, “WTF DID I JUST READ?!” on top.
✿ Enough mystery and suspense to keep you up at night.
✿ You know, as if the scary wasn’t enough.
✿ Such a massive tome that it can also double as a lethal weapon.
✿ Proves what I’ve always suspected: deer are evil and out to get us.
holy moly, i thought that my chicken soul would be ready to read this book. IT WAS NOT!!! wow, even those lines had goosebumps popping up all over and chills running down my neck. eeeeeh… haha 🙈
Yes, abort, abort! You are so not prepared for this LOL. I’m not even sure I was prepared for some of these scenes haha. And those lines are so miiiiild, Dini. You have no idea. It’s 700 pages of adrenaline on the edge of your seat, and you keep thinking it’s almost over and then it’s not lol.
Sounds way too scary for me. I hope you are enjoying it. This week I am spotlighting a book from deep in my TBR mountain – Redshirts by John Scalzi. Happy reading!
It’s pretty dang creepy lol. Definitely not for the faint of heart!
Sounds like you’re enjoying this? Can’t wait for a full review😁
I keep going back and forth on how much I’m enjoying it. This is gonna be one really difficult book to rate. xD
Today, I’m sharing from Love You, Truly by Susan L. Tuttle: https://christianfictiongirl.blog/2019/12/19/first-line-friday-115/. It’s such a good book!!! Currently, I’m just starting Isaiah’s Legacy by Mesu Andrews, so I’ll post a line from there:
“I hated weeding the garden alone, but I’d rather Abba copy his scrolls inside than bear our neighbor’s cutting remarks.”
Hope you have a great weekend and a blessed Christmas! 😊❤📖
Yeah… NOPE! This book sounds way too scary for horror-wimp me… O.O
Whaaaat? Noooo. Okay, maybe yes haha. If you ever need to scratch a scary story itch like I’ve had, though, it’s just the thing!

Sounds wicked!! I’ve seen great reviews on this one! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Thank you! Have a wonderful Christmas yourself!
